Energy Storage 30 kWh – three systems Growatt

The table shows all systems Growatt from our offer, which are sold as 30 kWh; the name leads to the product card with the current price. The abbreviation LV stands for low-voltage storage, and the abbreviation HV stands for high-voltage storage.

All three systems are available, each consisting of six modules. Current pricing and availability are shown in the energy storage category.

The "Capacity" column provides the nominal capacity. This is the number of modules multiplied by the nominal capacity of the module according to the manufacturer's documentation. The kit's trade name may be a rounding of the nominal capacity.

Older sets APX with modules APX 5.0P-B1 have been discontinued and are being replaced by the system Growatt APX 30 kWh HV Battery 2.0.

Module HOPE 5.0L-B1 according to the manufacturer's documentation it has 5,12 kWh nominal capacity and 5,0 kWh usable capacity. The six modules have a total of 30,72 kWh.

For the system AXE we assumed 5,0 for calculations kWh per module according to the manufacturer's documentation. The product page in our store states 5,12 kWh per module. This difference is described in the regulations section.

Energy Storage 30 kWh without notification – the limit in Construction Law

Energy storage with a nominal capacity of no more than 30 kWh In Poland, it does not require a building permit or notification. The limit is the same for a warehouse installed in a facility and for a freestanding warehouse. The regulations apply from January 7, 2026.

This text does not constitute legal advice.

The basis is the act entitled "Act of 4 December 2025 amending the Act - Building Law and certain other acts". The act was announced on 23 December 2025 as Journal of Laws 2025 item 1847 w witin the Journal of Laws.

In this article, notification means reporting construction or construction works to the office, and not reporting the warehouse to the energy network operator.

Article 29, paragraph 4, point 3, letter c exempts from the requirement of a building permit and notification the installation of: "electricity storage facilities with a nominal capacity of not more than 30 kWh”. Article 29, paragraph 2, point 39 exempts from the same obligations the construction of: “free-standing electricity storage facilities with a nominal capacity of no more than 30 kWh”. Both quotes are excerpts from longer regulations.

As of September 20, 2026, the Construction Law also includes a definition of an electricity storage facility. The definition can be found in Article 3, Section 27.

The subject of the notification is defined in Article 30, paragraph 3. It is the obligation to "notify the State Fire Service authorities about the completion of the installation of […] electricity storage facilities and the commencement of their use."

The Act talks about capacity nominal and does not explain where to get this value. The system APX 30.0M-S3 has a capacity of 30 according to the manufacturer's data sheet kWh. Set HOPE 30 kWh according to the manufacturer's documentation it has 30,72 kWh nominal capacity (6 × 5,12 kWh). That's more than 30 kWh.

For the system AXE 30.0H-1HR-E1 the documentation we have specifies six modules of 5,0 kWhHowever, the product page in our store states that the manufacturer's system document lists the same set of modules as 30,7 kWhIf you choose a set HOPE or the system AXE, before installation, ask about it at the district office or at the city hall with district rights.

Who is Magazine 30 for? kWh – 13–15 kWp installation, small company, largest capacity without notification

Energy Storage 30 kWh It's for three groups of buyers. These are owners of 13- to 15-kWp installations who plan to receive a subsidy. These are people who want the highest capacity without having to register. These are also small businesses with three-phase inverters.

You have a photovoltaic installation with a capacity greater than 12,8 kWp and no greater than 15 kWp. You are planning to receive a subsidy. The PME 2 program requires that the storage capacity be at least twice the installation's power. Therefore, a 13 kWp installation requires a 26 kW storage capacity. kWh. Set 25,6 kWh then it is too small.

You want the largest warehouse that doesn't require a building permit or notification. In Poland the limit is 30 kWh nominal capacity.

You run a small business and have a three-phase inverter. Inverters MID-XH have a power of 17 to 30 kW and serve the warehouse APX HV Battery 2.0 from 5 to 60 kWh.

For whom not. For installations with a capacity of up to 10 kWp, the subsidy program condition is already met energy storage 20 kWh.

How to choose an energy storage 30 kWh step by step

1. Check your inverter series, because the inverter determines the choice of LV or HV storage.
2. Check the nominal capacity in the device documents and compare it with the limit of 30 kWh.
3. If you are planning a subsidy, multiply the photovoltaic power by two and compare the result with the storage capacity.

How long will the 30-unit warehouse last? kWh – working time with constant consumption

Energy Storage 30 kWh enough for 30 hours at a constant consumption of 1 kW and for 10 hours at a constant consumption of 3 kW. This calculation is for 30 kWh usable capacity, without losses. Operating time is the usable capacity divided by the average power consumption. In the table, let's assume constant power consumption.

Warehouse 30 kWh with an inverter – what inverter Growatt and how much does the set cost?

Energy storage inverter 30 kWh depends on whether the storage system is low-voltage or high-voltage. APX HV Battery 2.0 works with MIN-XH, MOD-XH BP, MOD-HU and MID-XH, system AXE with inverters WIT-XHU, and the set HOPE with inverters off-grid SPF.

System APX HV Battery 2.0 (HV, 400V or 750V). The manufacturer's documentation lists four compatible inverter series: MIN-XH, MOD-XH BP, MOD-HU, MID-XH. One cluster consists of a master module and a maximum of five battery modules, i.e. it has from 5 to 30 kWhThe documentation only gives the capacity range for the series. MID-XH: 5 to 60 kWh.

For the MIN-XH, MOD-XH BP, and MOD-HU series, the documentation we have does not provide a capacity range. Please confirm this range before purchasing.

System AXE 30.0H-1HR-E1 (HV, rack). Module AXE 5.0H-E1 works with inverters according to the manufacturer's documentation WIT-XHU. Also requires a control module AXE 1000100-C1. The smallest compatible inverter in our list is the model WIT 30K-XHUThis inverter has a capacity of 30 kW, three phases and three battery inputs.

Choose a set HOPE 30 kWh (LV, 51,2 V). The manufacturer's documentation assigns the module HOPE 5.0L-B1 for inverters off-grid SPF and for single-phase SPH inverters. The set in our offer is prepared to work with inverters of the series SPF.

Warehouse Grant 30 kWh – how much from the Home Energy Storage program

Energy storage subsidy 30 kWh from the Home Energy Storage Program (PME 2) is the lowest of the three values. These are: 30% of eligible costs, PLN 800 for each 1 kWh nominal capacity or limit. The limit is PLN 16,000 for net-billing or PLN 8,000 for net-metering.

The PME 2 program applies only to Poland. Applications must be submitted by individuals, not companies. The application period opens on October 20, 2026, at 9:00 AM and will last until October 1, 2027, at 20:00 PM, or until the budget is exhausted (as of October 2, 2026). witprogram line).

Net-billing and net-metering are two prosumer billing systems in Poland.

The program also includes warehouse assembly among eligible costs.

A rate of PLN 800 gives PLN 24,000 for 30 kWh and PLN 24,576 for 30,72 kWh. Systems 30 kWh you will find in the category energy storage.

Disclaimer for the set HOPE. This kit is prepared to work with inverters off-grid SPFThe program requires a micro-installation connected to the grid and an energy management system (EMS). The program's FAQ excludes installations off-grid: if the network operator confirms the system off-grid, the subsidy will not be granted (question 2). If you plan to receive a subsidy, choose a set with a hybrid inverter connected to the grid.

If you're planning a subsidy, a storage facility with a grid-connected hybrid inverter is a safer choice. Confirm equipment eligibility with the program operator.

With net-billing, the full limit of PLN 16,000 requires an eligible cost of approximately PLN 53,334, because PLN 16,000 divided by 0,30 equals PLN 53,333.33. For lower costs, the subsidy is based on 30% of the costs.

Rule of two. The program requires that the nominal capacity in watt-hours be "equal to or greater than twice the peak power of the PV installation." Magazine 30 kWh is 30,000 Wh, and half of that value is 15,000 Wp, or 15 kWp.

Price limit. Według witprogram market, the price for the purchase and installation of the warehouse "cannot exceed the value of PLN 3,000 per 1 kWh nominal capacity." The program limit also includes assembly.

Energy storage 30 kW or 30 kWh – power and capacity

Energy storage 30 kW means power and energy storage 30 kWh, also written "energy storage 30"kwh”, indicates capacity.
