Prices for these configurations, excluding the inverter and installation, are shown live in the price table at the top of the page. The nominal capacity, according to the manufacturer's documentation, is the number of modules multiplied by the nominal capacity of the module. The kit's trade name may be a rounding of the nominal capacity. For a module ALP 5.0L-E2 documentation gives one capacity value: 5,0 kWh. LV (low voltage) stands for low voltage storage and HV (high voltage) stands for high voltage storage.

You can check all capacities and current availability in the category energy storage in the store PVGroup.pl.

sets APX 20 kWh for inverters MID-XH and MOD-XH BP have been discontinued and are being replaced by the system Growatt APX 20 kWh HV Battery 2.0 (APX 20.0M-S3).

The price is primarily determined by the inverter, because the inverter determines which series of warehouses fits it.

Growatt APX 20 kWh HV Battery 2.0 – master module and three battery modules on the base
Growatt APX 20 kWh HV Battery 2.0 – master module and three battery modules on the base

What is included in the price of the energy storage 20? kWhand what it does not contain

Energy Storage Price 20 kWh from the table includes the warehouse itself: battery modules and BMS, i.e. the Battery Management System. In the system APX 20 kWh HV Battery 2.0 price also includes the base and three-phase energy meter Growatt TPM-CT-E-EU. Check the ingredients on the product card in the store.

The price in the table does not include three things:

  • Inverter. If you already have an inverter prepared to work with an energy storage device, you only need to purchase the storage device.
  • Assembly. We do not provide installation costs: they depend on the installation and are priced by the installation company.
  • Protection and electrical equipment. They are selected by the installation designer. Some inverters require a separate device to provide emergency power to the entire house: SYN 50-XH-10 for MIN-XH or EU series SYN-100-XH-30 for the MOD-XH series and MID-XH, according to manufacturer's documentation.

The price of the magazine itself is influenced by four things:

  • Voltage class. LV and HV magazines have different prices per 1 kWh capacity.
  • Nominal capacity. The positions in the table are from 20 to 23,04 kWh.
  • Accessories included. System APX the price includes a base and an energy meter.
  • BMS. Modules ARK 2.5H-A2 managed by the controller HVC 60050-C2 — in sets ARK do SPH is included in the set with the base (according to the set description in the store); in the system APX functions BMS serves as the master module.

How much does a 20-unit warehouse cost? kWh with assembly?

We do not provide prices including assembly because PVGroup.pl sells equipment. When comparing offers from the market, check three things:

  • whether the price is for the warehouse itself, the warehouse with the inverter, or the complete set with assembly;
  • what is the nominal capacity and price for 1 kWh;
  • what inverter does the warehouse work with?

Prices for all capacities from 5 to 100 kWh we describe in the article how much does an energy storage facility cost?.

What energy storage 20 kWh fits the inverter Growatt?

For inverters SPF matching sets HOPE 20 kWh i ALP 20 kWhFor three-phase inverters SPH TL3 BH-UP fits ARK 20,48 kit kWh. For MIN-XH, MOD-XH BP, MOD-HU and series MID-XH fits system APX 20 kWh HV Battery 2.0.

Capacity alone isn't enough to choose a storage system. Each inverter series operates with a single voltage class, either LV or HV, and that class is determined by the inverter.

Source: manufacturer's catalog datasheets and our technical team's selection guidelines, as of September 18, 2026. The series name refers to the inverter category in the store. The abbreviations EPS (emergency power supply) and UPS refer to emergency power supply during a power outage in the manufacturer's documentation.

There are two important considerations when purchasing:

  • The MIN-XH inverter works with the ARK 2.5H-A2 storage unit only in self-consumption mode. The manufacturer specifies the storage unit for emergency power supply. APX and device SYN 50-XH-10.
  • For inverters WIT-HU and to the SPH-HU series (this is a different series than SPH TL3 BH-UP from the price table) we do not have a ready set of 20 kWh. Check the composition in configurator Growattwho selects the storage device for the inverter, or ask our technical team.

Price differences between configurations are due to the voltage class: LV sets (HOPE i ALP, 51,2 V) and HV systems (APX and ARK) have different price for 1 kWh.

Prices in both classes are explained in the article energy storage price list from 5 to 100 kWhWe compare low-voltage storage systems in a separate article: LV battery comparison GrowattThe series is described in the guide energy storage Growatt.

Is warehouse 20 kWh power your home during a grid outage?

This depends on the inverter, not the storage unit itself. SPH have a UPS function, and the MOD-HU series has an EPS function, i.e., an emergency power output. The MOD-XH BP series has a built-in EPS output, but whole-house backup power requires an EU box SYN-100-XH-30. For the series MID-XH manufacturer provides the same box. The range of emergency circuits is determined by the installation design.

Funding for energy storage 20 kWh – PME 2 rules

Subsidy from the PME 2 program for energy storage 20 kWh is a maximum of PLN 16,000 in the net-billing system or PLN 8,000 in the net-metering system. You can calculate the amount for your own valuation in the four steps described below.

The program applies only to Poland. Witgovernment market przydomowemagazyny.gov.pl announces that the call for applications will start on October 20, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. and will last until October 1, 2027 (20:00 p.m.) or until the budget is exhausted (as of October 2, 2026).

The subsidy covers up to 30% of eligible costs. The program also has two amount limits: PLN 800 for 1 kWh nominal capacity and PLN 16,000 in the net-billing system or PLN 8,000 in the net-metering system. The lowest of these three values applies.

Only with nominal capacity 20 kWh both amount limits are equal: PLN 800 × 20 kWh = PLN 16,000. With a nominal capacity of 20,48 kWh The first limit is PLN 16,384, so the lower limit is PLN 16,000. As long as the eligible cost does not exceed PLN 53,333, the 30% limit determines the amount.

You can choose the storage for your inverter in configurator Growatt, and all models can be found in the category energy storage.

You can calculate the subsidy for your own valuation in four steps:

  1. Add up the eligible costs: the price of the warehouse and the cost of assembly.
  2. Calculate 30% of this sum.
  3. Calculate PLN 800 × nominal capacity of the warehouse in kWh.
  4. Select the lowest value: step 2 result, step 3 result or limit of PLN 16,000 (net-billing) or PLN 8,000 (net-metering).

The program also includes warehouse installation among eligible costs. The full PLN 16,000 subsidy for the warehouse 20 kWh requires an eligible cost of PLN 53,333, i.e. PLN 2,667 per 1 kWhThe program also has a purchase and installation price limit: PLN 3,000 for 1 kWh nominal capacity.

The program has three more requirements:

  • Rule of two. The nominal capacity of the storage in watt-hours must be at least twice the photovoltaic power in watt-hours. With a capacity of 20 kWh this means photovoltaics with a capacity of up to 10 kWp.
  • Island work. The inverter or set of devices must have an emergency power supply function.
  • EMS (Energy Management System). This is an energy management system. The manufacturer has issued a declaration for six series of inverters: MIN-XH, MOD-XH, MOD-HU, MID-XH, WIT-HU and SPH BH-UP. The declaration lists the designation "MOD 3-10KTL3-XH," so ask the manufacturer if it also covers the BP variant.

Disclaimer for Inverter Kits SPF. Door Line SPF is not included in the manufacturer's EMS declaration, and the program requires a micro-installation connected to the network. The program's FAQ excludes installations off-grid: if the network operator confirms the system off-grid, the subsidy will not be granted (question 2). If you plan to receive a subsidy, choose a set with a hybrid inverter connected to the grid.

More information can be found in the articles: conditions for subsidy for energy storage , home energy storage and subsidy for energy storage.

Energy Storage 20 kWh or 15 or 25 kWh – for whom which capacity

Energy Storage 20 kWh is a good choice in two situations.

Photovoltaics from 7,5 to 10 kWp and subsidy plan. Warehouse 15 kWh meets the two-fold rule up to 7,5 kWp. Warehouse 20 kWh meets it up to 10 kWp, and the warehouse 25 kWh up to 12,5 kWp. This is a program rule, not a consumption assessment.

Building with high energy consumption in the evening and at night. Let's assume that the building uses 15 kWh energy from dusk till dawn. Then warehouse 15 kWh leaves no stock and warehouse 20 kWh leaves 5 kWhThis is an assumption made for the example, not market data.

Warehouse 20 kWh is not a good choice in two situations. First, the photovoltaic system has a capacity greater than 10 kWp and you're planning a subsidy, because the rule of two requires a larger capacity. Second, your inverter isn't listed in the compatibility table, because then you'll need to select an inverter first.

The power of photovoltaics Minimum capacity in PME 2 Warehouse 20 kWh
5 kWp 10 kWh meets the rule with a margin
7,5 kWp 15 kWh meets the rule with a margin
8 kWp 16 kWh meets the rule with a margin
10 kWp 20 kWh fulfills the rule exactly
12 kWp 24 kWh too small; choose around 25 kWh

The minimum capacity is the photovoltaic power multiplied by two, according to the rule of two of the PME 2 program. It is the nominal capacity that counts.

The second table compares capacities of approximately 15, 20, and 25 kWh in the same series; the set name leads to the product card with the current price.

Energy storage 20 kW or 20 kWh – power and capacity

20 kW energy storage and 20 kW energy storage kWh are not the same: kW means power, and kWh means capacity. The queries "20 kW energy storage" and "20 kW energy storage price" almost always refer to a storage with a capacity of 20 kWh.

Power indicates how quickly the system releases energy and depends primarily on the inverter. Capacity indicates how much energy the storage device can store.

Example: inverter MID20KTL3-XH has a power of 20 kW, the MOD inverter 10KTL3-XH BP has a power of 10 kW, and the inverter SPF The 6000ES PLUS has a power of 6 kW. Each can be equipped with a 20-volt energy storage system. kWh.

The warehouse also has its own power limit. System datasheet APX The 20.0M-S3 delivers a maximum power of 10 kW and a peak power of 14 kW for 10 seconds. The power of the entire system is limited by the inverter. For sets HOPE, ALP i ARK We do not provide charging or discharging power; please check these values in the manufacturer's data sheet.

Is it possible to expand the warehouse from 10 kWh to 20 kWh?

Yes, if the inverter supports higher capacity. The expansion range for each series is listed in the table above. Option 10 kWh we describe separately: energy storage 10 kWh.

  • APX HV Battery 2.0: expansion from 10 to 20 kWh means purchasing two modules APX 5.0P-B3. Check the module price and availability on the product page. Above 30 kWh, with inverter MID-XH, two master modules are needed.
  • ARK 2.5H-A2 with SPH inverter: expansion from 10,24 to 20,48 kWh means purchasing four modules. You can check the module price and availability on the product page. Details are provided in the article. versions and stock limits Growatt ARK.
  • HOPE 5.0L-B1: You can check the price and availability of the module on the product card.

Before purchasing, ask our technical team how long after initial installation the manufacturer allows for the addition of modules. The program treats modules connected to a single PPE as a single warehouse. Expansion to the required capacity is only possible with additional modules of the same model, if permitted by the manufacturer. All parts must be purchased, installed, and reported to the OSD by November 1, 2025, and warehouses from two different manufacturers are not eligible (FAQ, questions 4, 13, and 14).

How to order – configurator and purchase for companies

Start your order with the inverter, not the storage unit. The inverter model determines the series and voltage class of the storage unit, and only then do you select the capacity.

This way you will avoid four mistakes:

  • comparing the price of installation with the price of the equipment itself;
  • confusing the power of 20 kW with the capacity of 20 kWh;
  • selecting a warehouse before checking the voltage class of the inverter;
  • calculating the subsidy based on the capacity of the trade name instead of the nominal capacity.

The purchase is made in four steps:

  1. Check the inverter model on the nameplate.
  2. Find its series in the compatibility table or select it in configurator Growatt, which selects the storage device for the inverter.
  3. On the product card from the first table, check the current price, availability and composition of the set.
  4. For a new installation, select both devices together: you will find inverters in the category inverters, and magazines in the category energy storage.

Gross prices are visible in the store without logging in. After logging in, installation companies see prices net of VAT, with a discount for their group.

If you have any questions, please contact our technical team via the contact page and provide the inverter model and photovoltaic power. The selection is free of charge.
