Energy Storage 100 kWh – system Growatt AXE and smaller configurations

Energy Storage 100 kWh in our offer is a system Growatt AXE 50.0H-1HR-E1 ×2: Two clusters of 10 modules, connected in parallel. A cluster is a self-contained set of modules with their own control, arranged in a separate cabinet. Each cabinet has its own control module AXE 1000100-C1, which functions as a battery management system (BMS). According to product data sheets, the usable capacity of a single cabinet is 90% of its capacity, because the depth of discharge (DoD, or the fraction of capacity that can be used) is 90%. For systems with multiple cabinets, we provide the sum of the cabinets' usable capacity.

Cabinet operating voltage according to product cards: 100 and 50 kWh – 464–568 V, 90 kWh – 278,4–340,8 V, 80 kWh – 742,4–921,6 V, 70 kWh – 324,8–397,6 V, 60 kWh – 556,8–681,6 V, 40 kWh – 371,2–454,4 V. The voltage determines which inverter is suitable.

Module AXE 5.0H-E1 EU has 5 in its trade name kWh, and nominally 100 Ah × 51,2 V, i.e. 5,12 kWh. Twenty modules of the 100 system kWh so it has a nominal value of 102,4 kWh.

The inverter determines which system is suitable, so first check the inverter model and then the capacity. What inverter for energy storage 100 kWh WIT 29.9–50K-XHU

Energy Storage 100 kWh from two wardrobes AXE 50.0H-1HR-E1 works with three-phase hybrid inverters Growatt WIT 29.9–50K-XHU. Manufacturer documentation assigns module AXE 5.0H-E1 to series WIT-XHU, and the inverter's datasheet lists three battery inputs. According to the manufacturer's system documentation, described on the product datasheet, a two-cabinet configuration provides full power with any inverter in this series.

The catalog card gives the battery voltage range of 200–900 V for the entire series. Cabinet 50 kWh operates in the 464-568 V range, so it is also within the full power range of the model WIT 50K-XHU (310–800 V). According to the data sheet, this series of inverters has an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) and can start the installation without mains voltage (so-called black start). Switching to uninterruptible power takes a maximum of 10 ms.

The power at which the storage device delivers energy to the facility is limited by the inverter. System 100 kWh according to the product card, it has a power of 100 kW (2 × 50 kW) at a current of 1C, i.e. the power in kW equal to the capacity in kWh. Energy Storage 80 kWh – one system for inverters WIT 50–100K-HU

Energy Storage 80 kWh in our offer is a system Growatt AXE 80.0H-1HR-E1: 16 modules AXE 5.0H-E1 EU connected in series (16 × 51,2 V = 819,2 V) and arranged in two low cabinets. The operating voltage range is 742,4–921,6 V.

The upper value exceeds 900V from the inverter card WIT 29.9–50K-XHU. Therefore, system 80 kWh is selected for inverters WIT 50–100K-HU, which is indicated on the product data sheet. Their data sheet specifies a battery voltage range of 600–1000 V or 680–1000 V, depending on the connection type (with or without neutral).

• Usable capacity: 72 kWh.
• Power at 1C current (power in kW equal to capacity in kWh): 80 kW.
• Dimensions: 1140 × 640 × 1600 mm (width, depth, height), weight up to 960 kg.

Energy Storage 60 kWh and 40 kWh – one wardrobe AXE

Energy Storage 60 kWh is the largest single wardrobe in the series AXE 30.0–60.0H-1HR-E1; manufacturer's documentation specifies a range of 30 to 60 for the cabinet kWh. System AXE 60.0H-1HR-E1 has 12 modules, nominal voltage 614,4 V and 54 kWh usable capacity. According to the product card, it provides full power with each inverter WIT 29.9–50K-XHU.

Wardrobe 60 kWh It measures 570 x 1964 x 660 mm (width, height, depth) and weighs up to 690 kg. It takes up as much floor space as one 100 system cabinet. kWh.

Energy Storage 40 kWh this is a wardrobe AXE 40.0H-1HR-E1 with 8 modules and 36 kWh usable capacity. Paired with an inverter WIT 50K-XHU, the system power is 40 kW, which is the power of this cabinet.

How long will the 100-unit warehouse last? kWh – working time with constant consumption

Energy Storage 100 kWh on 90 kWh usable capacity. At a constant power consumption of 10 kW, it will last for 9 hours, and at 50 kW for 1,8 hours. Operating time is the usable capacity divided by the average power consumption; the table shows 90, 72, and 54 kWh usable capacity of 100, 80 and 60 systems kWh and ignores processing losses.

Drawing 50 kW from storage requires an inverter with at least that power. WIT 30K-XHU the power output from the storage is limited by the rated AC power of the inverter, i.e. 30 kW.

Energy storage 100 kW or 100 kWh – power and capacity

Energy storage 100 kW means power and energy storage 100 kWh indicates capacity. Power in kilowatts (kW) determines how quickly the storage device releases energy. Capacity in kilowatt-hours (kWh) determines how much energy the storage holds.

System AXE 100 kWh according to the product card, it has a power of 100 kW at 1C current, but it gives off as much power to the object as the inverter allows: in tandem with WIT 50K-XHU 50 kW maximum. If you need 100 kW of power, you're looking for an inverter in this class. Manufacturer documentation lists, for example, WIT 100K-HU (with high voltage storage AXE i ACE 209H-2H) and WIT 100K-XHU (with modules AXE 5.0H-E1). Energy Storage 100 kWh and Construction Law – notification

Energy storage with a nominal capacity greater than 30 kWh and no more than 300 kWh requires a notification in Poland, not a building permit. This applies to systems 60, 80, 90, and 100 kWh and warehouses 209 and 261 kWh from this article. The regulations apply from January 7, 2026.

This text does not constitute legal advice. "Reporting" here means reporting construction or construction work to the office, not reporting the warehouse to the power grid operator.

The basis is the Act of 4 December 2025 amending the Act - Building Law and certain other acts, announced as Journal of Laws 2025 item 1847The Act specifies a nominal capacity. For a system of 100 kWh it is 102,4 kWh (20 × 5,12 kWh), which is still less than 300 kWh.

Where to put the warehouse 100 kWh – location, weight, working conditions

Wardrobes AXE They have an IP20 protection rating, so they should be placed in a technical room, not under a shelter. Product data sheet:

• Two cabinets of 570 × 1964 × 660 mm (width, height, depth), total weight up to 1180 kg.
• Operating temperature from -10 to 50 °C, air cooling, noise below 60 dB.
• Free-standing installation on the floor, up to 2000 m above sea level
• The module has dimensions of 482 × 131 × 580 mm and a weight of up to 47 kg.

Before ordering, check the floor's load-bearing capacity and the transport route to the room. The installation location and cable routing between cabinets are agreed upon when ordering.

Industrial energy storage over 100 kWh ACE 209H-2H and RISE 261H-XH

ACE 209 AM - 2 PM. According to the manufacturer's documentation, 13 modules give 209,6 kWh capacity and 188,6 kWh usable capacity at a voltage of 748,8 V. The cabinet is controlled by a module ACE 1000140-C1. Manufacturer documentation links it to inverters WIT-XHU and WIT 50–100K-HU.

RISE 261H-XH. It's a hybrid inverter and battery in one cabinet. We offer the RISE 261H-XH in a 125 kW version (manufacturer designation RISE 261H-2H). According to the datasheet, it has 261 kWh capacity, lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cells, 95% depth of discharge and 10 inputs MPPT (photovoltaic power trackers) for installations up to 250 kW. Switching between on-grid and off-grid operation takes a maximum of 10 ms.

The RISE cabinet has an IP55 protection rating, dimensions of 1400 × 2150 × 1300 mm and a weight of 2,6 t. The battery is liquid-cooled.

Common mistakes when purchasing a 100-unit magazine kWh
