Growatt APX 10 kWh this is the configuration APX 10.0M-S3 from the family Growatt APX HV Battery 2.0: One Master Module APX 5.0M-B3 and one battery module APX 5.0P-B3, arranged one on top of the other in a 690 mm high column. This is the most frequently searched energy storage capacity in our range and in practice the reference point for the entire rest of the series.
Two modules still constitute one column, one inverter connection, and one set of shipping documentation. However, the difference compared to a single master is greater than just capacity: maximum power increases from 2,5 to 5 kW, and peak power increases from 3,5 to 7 kW for 10 seconds. At 10 kWh the warehouse is no longer an addition to the installation, but begins to actually transfer daytime production to the evening.
Why 10 kWh in generation 2.0 there are two boxes, not three
In previous generations APX The column started with the Power Module, i.e., the electronics without capacitance. Configuration 10 kWh then it required three elements: a control module and two battery modules of 5 kWh each. In generation 2.0, the electronics are located in the master module APX 5.0M-B3which itself stores 5 kWh, so the same 10 kWh consists of two modules.

Configuration 10 kWh is one column composed of two elements: the master module APX 5.0M-B3 and one battery module APX 5.0P-B3The master module sits at the top of the column and contains the battery management and its own 5 kWh capacity.
The base is included. The master module comes pre-assembled with a stand, and the packaging includes the stand and wall mount—no need to purchase a stand or separate battery management box. The stand is from an older generation. APX doesn't fit: older modules have a projection of 690 × 185 mm, 2.0 modules - 590 × 255 mm.

Single-phase installation? This kit will replace your meter at no extra charge. When 10 kWh is the proper capacity
At 10 kWh The maximum power is 5 kW in both phases, with a peak of 7 kW for 10 seconds. This is usually enough to maintain the heat pump circulation, lighting, boiler operation, and typical household loads simultaneously during a grid outage—provided the inverter has adequate output power, as it is the second limiting factor of the system.
