What is a single-phase hybrid inverter?

A hybrid inverter and a hybrid inverter are two names for the same device—we use them interchangeably in this description. A hybrid inverter manages three power flow directions: from the panels to the building's loads, from the panels to the batteries, and from the batteries to the building when production doesn't cover consumption. Surplus energy—after charging the storage—is fed into the grid. The SPH-HU models feature a UPS function: in the event of a power outage, the inverter switches power to the batteries for dedicated circuits.

The single-phase version is designed for buildings with a 230V connection. The rules for connecting micro-installations and permissible power on a single-phase connection are specified by the distribution network operator – verify your DSO's requirements before selecting the power. Two Paths: Full Hybrid SPH or battery-ready MIN

Growatt SPH-HU (8–10 kW) are full hybrids with UPS function, compatible with low voltage (LV) batteries: AXE 5.0L-C1, ARK 2.5L-A2 and HOPE 5.0L-B1. The magazine is connected directly, without additional intermediate modules.

If your warehouse is to be operational from day one and you need higher power, choose SPH8000TL-HU or SPH10000TL-HU with LV batteries (AXE, ARK, HOPE). If the customer starts with a smaller network installation and wants to add a battery later - MIN TL-XH in power matched to the PV generator, with expansion by BMS and HV battery at any time.

What batteries fit single-phase inverters? Growatt?
